SKET always has been a good address in the wire rope and cable industries. Stranding machines have been manufactured in Magdeburg since the beginning of the 20th century. Whether as a supplier of individual strading machines, complete technological stranding lines or complete works for the production of electric cable or steel wire rope, SKET Verseilmaschinenbau GmbH is valued as a partner in the cable and wire rope industry in 35 countries on all five continents. Our company operates from a 40,000 m² site, where traditional and newly developed machine systems for cable and wire rope production are designed and manufactured in our production and assembly areas of over 10,000 m². Not least amongst the reasons for the technological advances, which SKET equipment is able to offer to cable and steel wire rope industry customers, is the traditionally close cooperation which we enjoy with universities and research foundations.

Central Strander - MKZ
The Central Strander from SKET is mainly used for the production of round or sector shaped compacted copper or aluminium wire conductors and for the production of overhead cables (ACSR, AAC, AAAC) and the screening of electrical cables and the armouring of electrical cables.
Drum Twister MWR
The SKET Drum Twister embody experience and knowhow for the manufacture of energy cables from round and sector shaped conductors, for cable screening, for armouring of cables with round and flat wires, for manufacture of Miliken cables.
